Fabrics we print on

We work in all qualities of fabric — natural, synthetic and blended — and help you pick the one that suits your product and printing method.

Silk

A luxury fibre valued for its softness and elegance, in light and heavy weights for summer and winter. Mulberry, tasar, oak tasar, eri and muga silks.

Cotton

The everyday favourite for summer and winter, for all age groups, because it absorbs well and is comfortable.

Linen

Crisp and breathable for summer pieces; also blended with cotton, silk or rayon.

Viscose

A soft fabric that gives a feel close to a Kashmiri pashmina shawl; also in viscose pashmina qualities.

Modal

Smooth and soft with good drape, for scarves and light garments.

Polyester

Including polyester chiffon, georgette and jacquard — the base for sublimation printing.

Nylon

Light, strong synthetic for scarves and accessories.

Wool

Warm, smooth and soft, with natural lustre — mainly for winter collections. Merino and other wool qualities.

Cashmere and fine hair fibres

Cashmere (pashmina), mohair, angora and alpaca: warmth, softness and lustre for premium winter pieces.

Acrylic

An economical, warm synthetic for winter shawls and scarves.

Blended fabrics

A blend combines two or more fibres into a new fabric with its own properties — often easier to clean and care for, or more comfortable. We print on blends such as:

  • Polyester / cotton
  • Nylon / wool
  • Nylon / acetate
  • Ramie / polyester
  • Ramie / acrylic
  • Wool / cotton
  • Linen / cotton
  • Linen / silk
  • Linen / rayon
  • Silk / wool
  • Rayon / cotton

…and many more. If your fabric is not listed, ask us.

Woven, knitted and textured

Prints can go onto woven or knitted bases, and onto textured weaves such as jacquard and dobby. Alongside digital printing we work with flock and pigment printing techniques, and kani, jamawar and embroidered fabrics.
